Author and attorney Peter Loughlin is an expert on non-traditional law school education. A former law
enforcement officer with the City of New York, Loughlin "walks the talk"; he'd always wanted to become a lawyer, but family
obligations and financial constraints prevented him from traveling the traditional route into the legal profession. Loughlin
embarked on an alternative path using self-study and distance-learning programs, earning JD and LL.M degrees. After passing the
Bar examination, he founded Loughlin Law Associates, which specializes in international and US federal tax law, and JurisConsults
International Group, LLC, a legal consulting firm whose members are authors, professors and internationally-known economists and
lawyers.
